The Department of Computer Information Systems and Business Analytics offers an education that combines general business and modern technology that will fast-track you right into the heart of a fast-paced digital world. We are one of just two CIS programs in Colorado (and the only one at a public university) recognized by both AACSB and ABET, the world’s top business and computing accrediting agencies. 

Our students gain hands-on experience with all the latest technologies, applied in the context of business work. We offer advanced studies across a huge range of areas – including cybersecurity (jointly offered by the departments of Criminal Justice and Criminology, Mathematical and Computer Sciences and Computer Information Systems and Business Analytics), business analytics, systems analysis, telecommunications, data mining and application development.
