Another great reason for visiting Singapore is that it is one of the cleanest cities in the world. Thanks to the rules and regulations about spitting and littering, Singapore is free of unpleasant smells or unsightly litter. Though some may accuse Singapore of being rather clinical, we think it’s clean streets are a real plus.

If the way to a person’s heart is truly through their stomach, then all who embark on an adventure through Singapore’s culinary landscape will find themselves falling irrevocably in love with this city. Singapore certainly lives up to her reputation as a foodie’s paradise with everything ranging from world-class restaurants to tasty hawker fare.

But the city itself is a living, breathing display of cultural and religious diversity. For a festive atmosphere, nothing beats visiting the major ethnic enclaves: Chinatown, Little India, and Kampong Glam

World’s first-night zoo

Singapore’s Night Safari provides a nocturnal experience like no other in the city; it’s also the world’s very first night zoo. Opened in 1994, the 35-hectare park features over 1,000 animals in their naturalistic night-time environments.

Hop onto the 40-minute tram ride for an overview of the park’s main attractions. Be sure to amble along the four interlinked walking trails within the park, for a zoo trip like no other.

Shopping in Singapore

Now, I’m not much of a shopper but even for non-shopper like me, there are those times when you’ve finally decided to get yourself new lens for your camera or perhaps even new swim-shorts because your post-Christmas dieting plan didn’t quite play out like planned.

Point is, you’re bound to find anything you need to buy quite easily in Singapore.

Arts and culture scene

When it comes to arts and culture, Singapore definitely punches well above her weight. The city lights up in a spell of light and passion as artistic and creative endeavors are celebrated at festivals like Art Week and the Singapore Writers’ Festival. At the Marina Bay waterfront, the twin domes of the Esplanade stand proudly as guardians of the arts, featuring programmes encompassing music, dance, theatre and more.

Venture into the heart of the country’s Civic District for galleries and museums housing the finest collections of South-East Asian art and material culture. The National Gallery of Singapore houses thousands of pieces showcasing the rich artistic heritage of the region, while the Asian Civilizations Museum explores the ancestral cultures of Singaporeans and of greater Asia.

Passport

• Please upload the first and last page of your current passport which contains the photograph and the personal particular details. Both, the original passport along with a copy of the bio pages must be included. Passport must be issued within 10 years; valid for 6 months beyond the last intended date of departure from this country; should contain at least 2 blank visa pages; Should have no alteration or handwritten amendments in the data pages.

Visa Application Form

• All forms must be completely filled and signed by the applicant. In the case of minors, both the parents must sign the respective forms.

Photographs

• Two new Photographs (photo should not be used earlier). Mention your name and passport number on the reverse of one photograph (35mm x 45mm high without any border, white background, matt finish facial image must be 25mm x 35mm from chin to crown, both ears must be clearly visible, Xerox and printout photo not accepted). Note: If a previously used photograph (used for a previous Singapore visa) is given, it will lead to visa rejection.

Letters addressed to the Visa Issuing Authority

• Letters addressed to the Visa Issuing Authority for example; cover letter, invitation letter, etc.

Air Ticket Confirmation

• Please upload round trip flight reservations with a travel itinerary.

Hotel Confirmation

• Hotel confirmation or For sponsored visitors V39A to be filled in by the sponsor along with EP or PR clear copy (Mandatory).

Proof of sufficient funds for travel

• Bank Statement for last 6 month attested by Bank official

Evidence of Occupation

• Evidence of occupation in the resident country to be provided.

Proof of Current Residence

• If the current address is different from the passport kindly upload the Rent/Purchase Agreement, Electricity Bill, etc.

• All Indian passport holders require a valid visa to visit Singapore.
• The visa validity and the number of entries would depend on the individual’s requirement and the visa issuing authority. 
• The visa processing time is usually 5 working days, however, this would vary as per individual case.
