Description

If you enjoy learning and working with youth and have a desire to make a difference in students’ lives, the Bachelor of Education/Science Combined program is for you. Students will gain experience through classroom observation, special projects and teaching opportunities while making personal connections with the education community. RDC offers a two-year University Transfer Program in Elementary or Secondary Education. The transfer program offers the first two years of teacher preparation. Students can complete up to 60 transfer credits at RDC.

A combined Bachelor of Education/Bachelor of Science program allows students to satisfy the minimum requirements of both degrees in five years. The program provides a broader science background while maintaining the teacher education component. Graduates of the combined degree are eligible to apply for Teacher Certification in the Province of Alberta and all other provinces. Red Deer College offers up to two years of these programs.
