The Bachelor of Commerce - University Transfer program at Red Deer College will expose students to fundamental business principles, as well as touch on the humanities and social sciences needed to be competitive in today's work force. Bachelor of Commerce opens the door to opportunity where a degree is a requirement for career success.
At Red Deer College, students may complete Year 1 and Year 2 of the undergraduate business degree programs offered at Mount Royal University, the University of Alberta, the University of Lethbridge, Athabasca University or other Canadian universities. At RDC, students may complete Year 1 of the program offered at the University of Calgary. When the student transfers to the University of their choice, a specialized area of study (a major) may be selected.
The Bachelor of Commerce program will provide students with background skills and knowledge in the various specialized areas of business, as well as in the humanities and social sciences. Emphasis is on developing the ability to analyze various organizational problems of a human and/or technical nature.

NOTE: Applicants interested in applying for direct admission, but are yet to complete an acceptable language test, can do so, but must provide valid results before receiving a final offer letter. For conditional admission, instead of submitting language proficiency test scores, applicant may complete English courses prior to the academic program. The length of the English course is determined based on the applicant's level of English proficiency. |
