Carolina University currently maintains national accreditation, including academic standards that are equal to (or in some cases greater than) those held by other accrediting bodies.
CU is a member of the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS) having been awarded Reaffirmed status as a Category IV institution by the TRACS Accreditation Commission on April 21, 2020; this status is effective for a period of ten years. TRACS is recognized by the United States Department of Education, the Council for Education Accreditation and the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE).
Carolina University awards doctorate's, master’s, bachelor’s, and associate’s degrees, as well as certificates.
Graduates of our Teacher Education program are also entitled to certification through the American Association of Christian Schools and the Association of Christian Schools International.
Students are eligible for Federal financial aid. CU also has the pursuit of regional accreditation as a part of our strategic plan for the future
