About us

The Univesity of Law is one of the UK's longest-established specialist providers of legal education. ULaw can trace their origins to 1876 with the formation of tutorial firm Gibson & Weldon, and in 2016, they opened a leading Business School. With a rich heritage and a reputation for innovation and contemporary teaching practices, ULaw continuously focuses on developing the best legal and business minds.

The University of Law's newly refurbished campus is close to both underground and mainline train stations such as Moorgate, Farringdon and Liverpool Street and is walking distance from other underground stations such as Bank and Old Street. This well-connected campus is in the middle of the finance district and is near to the biggest names in the legal industry. The area is buzzing with City workers enjoying the many pubs, bars, restaurants and cafes. It is also close to vibrant areas such as Shoreditch, Hoxton and Spitalfields with their excellent shopping, art and fashion scenes.

The Moorgate campus has a spacious library, spread across two floors, where there are always plenty of computers and the staff are available to help students with their research. The newly refurbished reception area and cyber café are used for group study and are great places to socialise in between workshops and lectures. What sets this campus apart is its location. The campus is surrounded by major law firms, banks and other financial institutions which ULaw has close links to. The University of Law's Employability team and Pro Bono unit can give students the opportunity to work with real clients, check their CVs and conduct mock interviews to prepare them for the world of work.

At London Moorgate, the tutors and staff are dedicated to helping students achieve their education and career ambitions. Students stuying Law will be able to benefit from the tutors’ expertise from their previous experience as qualified lawyers, many of them having been solicitors and partners at leading law firms.
