Why the University for the Creative Arts - Rochester Campus?

  • TV Studios: UCA Rochester is also close to Maidstone TV Studios, where students can study BA (Hons) TV Production. The majority of the course is taught at the studios, with some lectures held at the Rochester campus. Students on this course can apply to stay in Rochester halls and have access to all the facilities on the Rochester campus, including student services, the library and equipment hire.
  • Location: Only a 40 minute train ride to London Rochester is an historic town with a modern twist. It may be a small town but it's certainly big in character – with loads of activities, this location is perfectly suited to the student lifestyle. Rochester town is pedestrian friendly and students will be bowled over by the energy and creativity radiating from its vibrant arts and music scene.
  • Galleries and Exhibitions: UCA’s campus galleries host unique and varied exhibition programmes that enrich and engage the wider community as well as the network of creative individuals across the University. In Rochester, the Zandra Rhodes Gallery provides a focus for local interest in the arts, hosting important exhibitions and contemporary art and design events throughout the year.
