Whether students decide to pursue this program’s thesis or non-thesis tracks in general criminal justice or security studies, the purpose of TROY’s master’s in criminal justice is to broaden and enhance their ability to understand, analyze and evaluate issues that confront the American criminal justice system. Through their courses, they'll have the opportunity to learn from knowledgeable and dedicated faculty members who will help them better understand decisions made by the U.S. Supreme Court as well as analyze criminal law, criminal justice organizations and the effectiveness of various crime control policies
