The goal of offering the B.A.S. degree is to provide students with a general knowledge of management, organizational, and policy issues and to advance their communication, computer, and quantitative skills. This degree also offers students the opportunity to complete a specialization that will broaden their career horizons, promote life-long learning, and enrich their life. Northern Arizona University offers this degree at selected campuses throughout Arizona.
The B.A.S. in Early Childhood Education is based on state and national education reforms and concentrates on educating students about the expanding specialized knowledge base concerning early childhood. This degree does not result in state certification.
