Description

The Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) candidate in Elementary Education will complete requirements for licensure in the K-6 classroom. Students can complete the content courses and requisite licensure requirements while working towards a graduate degree to fulfill the Elementary Education requirements. MAT students must complete all licensure and all core classes to complete the MAT degree and be recommended for licensure.

For conditional admission, instead of submitting language proficiency test scores, applicant may complete English courses prior to the academic program. The length of the English course is determined based on the applicant's level of English proficiency.
