Description

Get the know-how of a technologist and “know-why” of an engineer with an MSU Denver Electrical Engineering Technology degree. With an MSU Denver Electronical Engineering Technology degree, you are qualified to perform research, design, develop, test or supervise the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components or systems for commercial, industrial, military or scientific use.

Your Electrical Engineering Technology degree means you will have a solid foundation in sciences, mathematics and electric circuits and devices. MSU Denver’s intensive curriculum consists of two years of mathematical and engineering sciences, two years of analytical, experimental and design methodologies, computer-integrated design experience and substantial experience in our state-of-the-art Electrical Engineering laboratories.

With this combination of theoretical knowledge and practical skills, you will be prepared for immediate employment in the electrical and electronics industry or to pursue a master’s degree in the field. Some Electrical Engineering Technology positions require a Professional Engineer license. Your degree will prepare you to take the first step of passing the Fundamentals of Engineering exam. Six years of working under a P.E. are required to then sit for the P.E. exam
