Description

The MS program in nursing education prepares nurses as educators in increasingly complex, technological health environments with culturally diverse populations. The program is designed to foster scholarship, creativity and innovation as a foundation for leadership roles in teaching in academic and practice settings. 

The program offers advanced-level courses in education that can be used to provide a transition to doctoral level study, depending on career goals. At the completion of the program, graduates may be eligible to take the National League for Nursing's Certified Nurse Educator certification examination.
