The School of Public Affairs offers a concentration in American Indian studies as part of the BS in public service and public policy. This concentration program emphasizes tribal sovereignty, cultural integrity and identity of the American Indian nations and peoples, creating a learning environment conducive to critical and creative thought.
The program is primarily focused on providing students with the knowledge and skills required for entry- and mid-level supervisory and managerial positions in the public sector, such as city, county, state and federal agencies, though students would function successfully in many other types of organizations as well.
