Does a student dream of taking what they've learned and sharing their skills and knowledge with adults in a formal academic setting? TROY’s Bachelor of Science in Occupational Education can help them build onto their military training or associate/ technical degree from an accredited institution and further equip them with the tools they'll need to succeed as a workforce development professional. (A student's associate/technical degree must meet TROY’s general studies requirements.)

TROY’s bachelor’s in occupational education provides students with a pathway— using their specialized skills—to design, deliver and practice instructional programs for adults in a variety of professional and technical vocations including online education, workforce development, continuing education, higher education and military education. As students work their way toward their degree, they'll learn how to develop curricula for adult learners, apply the knowledge related to their occupation to practical classroom situations and articulate a personal adult education teaching philosophy. They'll also be able to discuss the different ways adults learn information and skills, and they'll learn ways to assess your students’ needs, interests, motivations and capabilities.
