Much of today's business operates in a dynamic, fast-paced and technologically advanced environment. It’s hard to imagine a future where business processes and financial transactions are not managed by technology. Companies require talented individuals who can bridge the gap between business management and technology, forge new connections and foster continuing innovation in their industries.

This degree aims to give you a sound knowledge of information technology fundamentals, their application in business, as well as a firm foundation in business management. This allows our graduates to address a growing global need for capable and confident leaders, perfect for business environments.

The School of EEECS has links with over 500 IT local, national and international companies. We benefit from the fact that there are more software companies located in Northern Ireland than in any other part of the UK, outside of London. Belfast’s burgeoning FinTech industry and start-up scene increases demand for experienced and well-rounded graduates every year.

Collaboration and communication are fundamental skills that students must learn to be successful, not only in this degree but in industry.
