Description

This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the Durham University International Study Centre located at Queen's Campus, in Stockton on Tees. After completing the pathway, students will progress into a program at Durham University. In an international foundation year students will study courses related to their intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance your skills as a student. Advancement into their intended program depends upon successful completion of the pathway program.

 

This International Foundation Year provides the subject knowledge, language proficiency and study skills students need to progress to degree study at the Durham University, Durham City campus in a range of subjects related to the humanities, law or social sciences

 

After completing this pathway, students will transfer to the BA Classics program. This Classics course is language, although how much language is studied and at what level depends upon you. The course is perfect if you have A Levels in Greek and/or Latin, but it is also suitable if you have never studied an ancient language before. We offer modules in both Latin and Greek, in prose and verse, at every level.
