Description

This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the Durham University International Study Centre located at Queen's Campus, in Stockton on Tees. After completing the pathway, students will progress into a program at Durham University. In an international foundation year students will study courses related to their intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance your skills as a student. Advancement into their intended program depends upon successful completion of the pathway program.

This International Foundation Year provides the subject knowledge, language proficiency and study skills students need to progress to degree study at the Durham University, Durham City campus a in a range of subjects related to economics, accounting or finance.

After completing this pathway, students will transfer to the BA Business and Management Program. For the graduates of today and tomorrow, being competitive and employable depends on demonstrating innovation, flexibility and commitment to continued learning. Durham is looking for students who are inquisitive and wish to learn more by investigating and researching.

Flexibility - the BA Business and Management and  BA Marketing degrees share a common first year, therefore it may be possible to switch between courses upon successful completion of year one. (Students who require a Tier 4 visa will need to check this in advance with the Tier 4 regulations which are in place at the time).
