With a balance of technical and entrepreneurial skill-building, Lethbridge College’s Virtual and Augmented Reality Certificate program focuses on 4 areas of study: fundamentals, experiential, spatial and application.
You will spend the first term learning Extended Reality fundamentals and be exposed to the latest tools including 3-D modeling, 360-degree video, game engine design and volumetric design. You will build practical projects and be given opportunities to build entrepreneurial skills on your own, and by working with a team of VR/AR specialist. You will spend the final term of the program in an industry-based practicum focused on an area of expertise that appeals to you, helping organizations build VR/AR experiences, as well as design quality content that clients can actually use.
