Lay a solid foundation for your accounting career at Lakeland College.

 Accounting is one of 4 majors in our 2 year business administration diploma.

 You’ll build basic business skills in your first year. In your second year, you’ll take specialized courses related to accounting. All will develop your technical accounting knowledge and expertise.

 Accounting is useful if you want to manage or start your own business. Your skills are also building blocks for related careers. From the diploma you can go deeper into:

• Business analysis
• Financial services
• Investment management

If being an accountant is your goal, this diploma is a starting point. Your courses are on the pathway to a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.

 If you want a degree, you don't have to leave Lakeland. Stay 2 more years and earn a Bachelor of Commerce or Management through our partnership with Athabasca University.
