Criminology is an exciting and expanding area of study! Concerns about public safety, crime, and social justice contribute to a strong demand for people knowledgeable in these areas. By studying criminology and justice, you will learn about the causes and prevention of crime and other social harms as well as explore possible solutions to these problems.
The Certificate in Criminology is a 30-credit program offering students an introduction to criminology and other disciplines as well as post-secondary training for careers in criminal justice agencies. On completion of the Certificate, students have the option of entering the Diploma in Criminology, Associate of Arts in Criminology, Bachelor of Arts in Community Criminal Justice, or Bachelor of Arts, Major or Minor in Criminology.
