The Human Resources Management Post-Baccalaureate Diploma allows students to prepare for a career in human resources management. Students who graduates from this program will:
Analyze and solve management problems.
Effectively analyze and strategically apply human resource management theories and principles at the generalist and specialist level.
Evaluate and propose how to effectively leverage the role of human resources in achieving the operational and strategic goals of an organization.
Identify pathways and obstacles to change in individuals, teams, organizations and recognize underlying processes, contents and outcomes in ethical decision making.
Develop the skills and abilities in each specialized human resource management area and effectively apply them in managing human resources in organizations.
Appraise recommendations to both familiar and new human resource management situations.
Design and develop programs that will help human resources function effectively and efficiently in organizations using skills and abilities developed in each human resource management specialized area.
Demonstrate professional writing and oral presentation standards and practice.
Obtain the requisite knowledge and skills to pass the National Knowledge Exam (NKE) towards earning a designation as a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR).
