Douglas College English Language Learning and Acquisition (ELLA) courses are designed to:
Develop the essential academic language skills needed for success in a Canadian college or university.
Introduce students to the research and critical thinking skills necessary for post-secondary studies.
Prepare graduates to communicate effectively and confidently in an English learning environment.
