The College of New Caledonia prepares the next generation of creative and intellectual leaders through a specialized two-year Associate Degree in Science program. This program prepares students for further education in the science disciplines by exposing them to a variety of university-level subjects, such as Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics, but also incorporating English and Social Sciences for a balanced education. The Associate Degree of Science is equivalent to the first two years of a university degree, at a fraction of the cost.
CNC’s Science students graduate with a wide range of transferable skills which they can apply in the professional world. These skills, such as professional communication, research and planning, critical thinking, analytical analysis, scientific and mathematical reasoning, and the application of theoretical understanding, all provide key competencies to industry-specific skills for employment.
